Though January is long gone, Storystorm isn’t – at least for me it’s not. I have made additional copies of the pages I used in January and taped them into my notebook. While I’m still inconsistent and undisciplined, tending to work in spurts, this is helping me to create a dedicated space to brainstorm and generate new story ideas. My ideas include biographies, historical fiction, current events, concept books, and fractured fairytales too. While I’m a fairly serious person and rarely (or never even as a child) have been called silly, I even have couple of wild, super silly animal stories listed though those might be someone else stories to write.
I have developed 4 of my new Storystorm ideas into completed manuscripts! I’m also working on research for other ideas and am having fun while my poor neglected MG WIPs sit waiting patiently.
